About Us: The Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company grew from a wish in the hearts of a group of community leaders into a reality in the hands of its members. On February 4, 1897, Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company charter members signed the original Mission Statement.
We, the undersigned residents of Pikesville, pledge ourselves as members of the organization of the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company to conform to rules and regulations which may hereafter be adopted by the government of the same.

Our Mission: The mission of the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company is to prevent or minimize the loss of life and damage to property from the effects of fire, medical emergencies and hazardous conditions in a manner that is cost-effective and efficient, and that honors the goals of teamwork, integrity, excellence and diversity. PVFC is accountable to the public it serves, its members, and any fire service organizations with which it interacts.
